Anhinga

On a trip to the Everglades in Florida I was lucky to see and photograph this beautiful anhinga spreading it's huge wings. Disperse dyed polyester, free-motion thread painted, machine appliqued and quilted, trapunto with 2-4 layers of wool batting.
