Blue-footed Boobie of the Galapagos

On our trip to Galapagos Islands we saw many Blue-footed Boobies. This is one I photographed on the rocks. An addition to my bird landscape series. Heavily machine embroidered with trapunto treatment using 2-4 layers of wool batting. Machine appliqued and machine quilted.
